He addresses the pain folks technique because he was really part of middle class america growing up. Having interacial parents and being raised with a single parent. So addressing that really showed a lot of sacrifices hes made. Also the hardships of growing up. He went after McCain of how hes a so called "maverick" when he voted with Bush over 95% of the time. This would be called statistics but with context. Mainly because it shows McCain on t.v. publicly saying he voted with Bush and it shows in the statistics. A big one is confidence because Obama is a person who shows and knows what hes talking about. He's never at a vulnerable stage.
